SELECTION TIMELINES For ASIAN GAMES 2026

• 1. Selection of 30 core probable’s: The Selection of 30 Men & 30 Women Core Probable’s during 35th Senior National Championship from 23 to 27 October 2025 and open Trials on 27 October 2025 at GOA.

• 2. Evaluation of the performance of probable’s: The proboles called to National Coaching Camps by position ranking basis as per requirements of teams and trained under chief coach with other coaching staff at NCC venues. The evaluation report prepared by chief coach and forward to selection committee for discussion and decision.

• 3. Short list of 18 core probable’s: The 18 probable’s for both teams will be finalized by selection committee in the month of February 2026 for sending the long list as per IOA timeline for Asian Games Accreditation policy.

• 4. Final Selection of teams: The final selection of teams will be done in the month of May 2026 as per the timelines of IOA for entry by Names. The final selection will be made by selection committee of STFI during trials inside the core probable’s available only.
